This is the classic white Plumeria (Also called Frangipani), known as Temple Trees and Lei flower. The flowers whiteness and intoxicating fragrance invoke a sense of purity and spiritual lightness that make it popular throughout the Indo-Pacific tropics for decorating, it's used in Balinese temples and restaurants for example. Native to warm tropical areas of the Pacific Islands, Caribbean, South America and Mexico, it's everywhere in Hawaii.
