Blue Ginger Dichorisandra Thyrsiflora

I'm actually a Brazilian, but as you can see, I've adopted very well to Hawaii. I'm a perennial herb, creeping first, then becoming erect up to 5 feet high and 2 to 4 feet wide.

My leaves are spirally arranged and are green and shiny. My flowers are deep blue, almost purple with yellow anthers. These make a very beautiful ornamental and I am easy to grow.

Blue Ginger Dichorisandra Thyrsiflora Plant Root - 1 Pack 1 rhizomes root -  2 to 4 inches long.

Growing instructions:

Plant your ginger rhizome in peat moss & compost with roots pointing downwards and the eyes pointing up just below the soil surface. Keep lightly moist and out of direct sunlight. Fertilize once a  month.

Blue Ginger

I received 3 Blue Ginger roots as a gift. The packing list calls them Live Hawaiian Ginger Cane Plant Sapphire Blue Nt. I followed what little instruction they came with to correctly plant them. Because of literally no planting instructions, I did my own research to ensure that I planted the roots properly. I was extremely careful to nurture them, not over water them, proper lighting and temperature. After one month, absolutely nothing. I am sorry my friend wasted his money on dead plants.
