White Ginger Hedychium Coronarium Plant Rhizome Root.
Exquisitely fragrant, this is the very classic and beloved Hawaiian flower, used for it's beauty and perfume in leis. It has been long used to perfume water and coconut oil. This is also a favorite traditional flower of Tahitians.
Once grown each Hedychium bloom is 4 to 8 inches long and blooms late summer to early spring. The foliage consists of large, lance-shaped leaves, about 5 inches wide. The leaves are medium to bright green in color. Remove any yellow leaves and old stems after the blooms have faded to promote new growth.

Planting Instructions:
Plant the rhizome horizontally 1 to 3 inches deep in potting soil with a stub poking above the surface. Soil should remain moist, and well-drained, never soggy. The soil shouldn’t be too alkaline. The pH neutral or slightly acidic. Keep in Partial to full shade.
